Educational work exchange program

What is our Educational work exchange program?

 

Our Educational work exchange program will allow you to experience life in the Peruvian Amazon, being immersed into the Shipibo culture and families on the land and at the same time, put to practice your skills and knowledge by contributing to the project.

 

Who is it for?

 

This program is focused for the people who are open minded and have an open heart for growth of all beings. For the ones that strive to live in alignment with nature, protecting and nourishing her. It is important to also be able to be flexible, understanding that we sometimes might need to help when we are needed. Nature is sometimes unpredictable and in the Shipibo community it is important to be there for each other when it is needed.

 

It is for people who are physically fit and have experience in any fields below:

 

• Permaculture 

• Agroforestry

• Landscape gardener

• Biology

 

It is for the ones that are willing to commit for a minimum of 3 months. Afterwards we are open to continue a collaboration and you could apply for the earth warrior program and other projects where you could take on a leadership role of a medium or long-term project.

 

The daily hours of work are 6 hours during 5 days a week. 

 

It is also important that you have a level of Spanish to work hand in hand with the rest of the team on land. 

 

What do we offer?

 

Being immersed with the Shipibo community will give you new eyes of seeing life and you will be able to be part of their teachings and their healing traditions. Their ancient wisdom that they carry will be part of what you will receive. Nature will be your greatest teacher during this time, able to see all its creatures from birds, monkeys, butterflies, spiders and snakes. You will be drinking pure spring water from our grounds and be surrounded with many teacher plants.

 

We offer you:

 

• 3 meals a day. 

• Your own Tamboo with a private bathroom.

• Pickup and drop off by your hotel or airport.

• Assistance call for the work every 2 weeks.
